Click on that article that the SID's posted on the website regarding all the players showing up for checking in camp today. It has a picture of him and say's he's a transfer from VMI. I saw that today and thought hmm..surprised that hasn't popped on here yet. Keep building that depth.

Also some info on V.T. OL transfer A.B. Latif

Offensive lineman A.B. Latif, a former Virginia Tech player, has transferred to Liberty and is waiting to see if he becomes eligible this season. “He’s in school,“ Rocco said. Latif played at Manchester High School in the Richmond area. Out of high school, the 6-3, 280-pound Latif was listed as a three-star recruit. I’ll know more about his status Thursday when the team meets for the first day of practice.
What is the status on this transfer from VTec? Is he eligible this year or has that not been determined yet?

He can practice with the team but is not yet eligible to play. He has to complete some classwork and then get a waiver from the NCAA to play. His status might not be known until very close to Sept. 4.

We do seem a tad thin if you take out the walkons and the true freshmen. Not sure about the talent level of Brown and Camire but Camire is listed as a starter and he is a walk-on. Most of the sophomores seem capable of improving. Hoping for no serious injuries there.

Just because a player is a walk-on doesn't mean he isn't good. In the past few years we've had Kevin Richard, Jonathan Crawford, Aaron Hewlett, and a few others who were walk-ons that were impact players by the time they were juniors and seniors.

Jon's right...even if you look at other sports you find guys who were walkons and made quite an impact (wasnt one of our FTN broadcasters a walkon?)
