What’s up guys!!

Long time, no talk! Hope LU still has some of the craziest fans in college football. Just wanting to catch up with everyone and let y’all know what I’ve been up to.
I spent most of my 1st off-season in VA with the family – My little nephews are growing up too fast. One is ten years old and is deeply in love with his new “girlfriend” haha – he said, “uncle Shad, I now know what it feels like to be in love”.

Got a chance to be involved, and educate myself on Taxes! Interesting.
Now I’m back in Jacksonville. We started training Monday. While I’m here I’ve been getting involved in the community. I was elected to be the face of NFL Play60 for this up coming season to represent the Jaguars. It is an huge honor. Great opportunity to impact people. Here is a list of some events I was involved with last yr.

2x Football Camps
`Along with Maurice Jones-Drew

Dance Trance charity event
`No reps involved haha

Stadium Tour
`Spoke to a group of youth ministers in the team meeting room

Clara White Mission--
`mission to serve food to the homeless, /play the guitar for them too - they can dance!

Sea Coast Christian Pre-School--
`Reading to the Kids /they cant hold still to save their lives haha

Hometown Huddle
`Joined NfL PLAY60

Beaches Chapel School
`Spoke to a group of children at the school about being positive and staying motivated

MDA
`Participated in the MDA media launch for this year's fundraiser

Nathan B. Forest High School
`Spoke to Forest High's Football team at their practice (Wynton Jackson’s coaches their)

United Way's Young Professional event
`Spoke to a group of United Way volunteers/conveying to them how important their jobs are

FCAT Pep Rally
`Participated in S.A. Hull pep rally for the FCAT test

United Way speaking engagement
`Spoke to a group about how important it is to volunteer with the United Way

Landmark Middle School
`Took the Play60 program to the Middle School

Tyson Food
`Helped Tyson Food Inc. distribute food to the Jacksonville Community/I wanted to eat it!

Pass and Play event
`Participated by helping the children shop for their presents/ We took a group of kids to Walmart and they all had $100 to spend with in 20mins - I saw a whole other side of Walmart haha

Book reading
`Read to a group of children at the Jacksonville Main Library

I’m holding my 1st Golf tournament next month (can’t golf but Shh no one knows)

Big Flames and Jags fan Rashad! Just wanted to say how much I loved the TD versus the Chiefs, it was pretty awesome...now if only we can fill JMS and end the blackouts that way I can catch a few more games other than on NFL.com Rewind. Vic always has good things to say about ya, I'm just waiting for Del Rio to let you get more involved in the O. Hopefully the O line improves (naturally and through the draft) so you and JD can light it up and maybe give Garrad some more throwing time too.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Rashad Jennings appears to have the best hands on the team, reports Vito Stellino, of The Florida Times-Union. Jennings could be a factor for the team on passing downs this year and serve as a solid backup to RB Maurice Jones-Drew. RB Deji Karim also showed good hands and could be another dimension to the offense when he splits out wide and is used on screen passes.

If Rashad can develop a reputation as a sure handed receiver out of the backfield, it will practically guarantee him a lengthy NFL career, especially if he can also become a solid pass blocker.
