Pierre Hawkes
5' 10" 160 lbs Defensive Back
Roswell (NM) New Mexico Military Institute (Transfer from Dinwiddie HS)

Pierre Hawkes, who was an All -State DB for me in 2008, has committed to Liberty University to play football.

He had recently been at New Mexico Military Institute, where he started as a freshmen. Pierre was a qualifier out of HS but we didnt feel he got recruited enough, he kind of got lost in the shuffle in the class that had 9 sign. After a year of growth, he has got the opportunity to go where he wanted out of college.

He will have 4 years to play 3 seasons after transferring. In case you've never heard of the school where he spent this past year, it is located in Roswell and is where Roger Staubach spent his freshman year before transferring to Annapolis.

I know that's one play but good nose for the ball on that one. If he is like that in camp I wouldnt be surprised if he made it on the two-deep for the opener

Not sure if it was a nose for the ball or the duck that guy threw... That ball looked like it was thrown by a 5 year old, on his knees, throwing with his opposite arm.
