Libertine, i appreciate your words and apologies. fsu's statement was hypothetical. so if hout was not let go, we do not know if he would have been here today or not. no one on this board has attacked coach rocco, the players and staff. everyone here has been positive. but yes this is a messageboard and there will always be people who want to live in the past and support certain coaches(ie. meyer, pastors, hout) this was just a hypothetical question, and not a slap in the face to the 06 flames.

Just trying to make comparisons between now and then and how we can at least get back the then part (Hout era). No disrespect was ever directed at Coach Rocco at all.

I have always supported the LU football coach whoever they maybe, now if I think they are not doing the job I also support replacing them. All I know of Coach Morgan was that he was the VA coach of the year and then was let go that same year for SR. Now I maybe wrong about that statement, and that was the reason I opened this thread. If he was coach of the year in VA when he was let go, I wonder what would have come next. I look foward to this season's opening and will be there for homecoming God willing. I have my room reserverd at the hotel. I was not aware of the years of bad recruiting but maybe if we can start winning and getting on TV that exposure will help.
