A singular effort by 1 guy that noone sees is not really what I meant. Some slogans, knicknames, fightsongs, chants, etc. came from nothing more that someone writing in the student newspaper. Now, with Facebook, FlameFans, and smoke signals it's much easier.
I disagree this is what LU tradition is all about!!!!! :P
Stop being a pest! :P

Hey sometimes even those singular efforts that no one sees end up turning into something and before ya know it everybody sees. Just about anything can become a tradition if you do it long enough

Except of the couple hundred kids you try to high five, maybe 20 of them actually do. The rest are laughing.

Let me elaborate further on my point.

I enjoy people. When I get in that stadium and see all those kids in red on the student side, my eyes light up like they would on Christmas morning as a child. One of the things that the band managers do is they are ambassadors to the students during the game. I would always get excited when they dismissed the field crew and the percussion to go and get ready because I wanted to be able to interact with the fans. Now I knwo that there are people that probably figured I looked silly doing what I was doing. I didn't care. I was having the time of my life. I am going to miss being able to do that before halftime.
