Tonight was the first meeting for the Lynchburg Sports Club and the man in charge of all officials for the ACC and Big South spoke. He had some pretty good stories as well as general information I had no idea about (ie they now send 11 officials to ACC games for TV, instant replay etc)

But, he took a tour today of our football facility and he said tonight he's been all over the country and seen a lot of facilities but LU's is by far the best and he even mentioned places such as Notre Dame and other top programs and said LU is by far the best football facility.

I know I'm not telling yall anything new but it sure did make me feel good when I heard that from a man who's seen as many facilities as he has, and when I heard Notre Dame I couldnt help but to think the smile Doc must have had on his face when that was mentioned.

Conjecture time to hold everyone over 'til Saturday: At what point in the future (what year) does the annual ND/LU game (Catholic vs. Christian Classic) become part of the fall football landscape...2030...2040...2075...not in this lifetime...Never? :dontgetit
