Holy crap. Sorry Sly, but I'm stealing your thunder and posting Day 11. Todd did a phenomenal job. He spent the ENTIRE day with the team through a two-a-day.
For those who think the life of a student-athlete is easy, LibertyFlames.com is here to dispel the rumor. A common myth for those unfamiliar with collegiate athletics is the student-athlete is pampered and given the easy route to a higher education.

However, that misnomer is probably as far from the truth as possible. Between early morning workouts, a full slate of classes, afternoon practices and evening study sessions, the average student-athlete works harder preparing for a vocation than when they graduate and transition into the working world.

Nobody's commented yet, but you really need to look at this. There's a lot of pictures, so even Medic can understand.

For all the criticism of the SIDs in the past, they (especially Todd) need to be commended for this over and over. This is the best look inside a training camp I've ever seen.

The pictures also give you a look at the inside of the FOC for those of you who haven't been in there.

I like the "Expect to Win" placard...wonder if the school will let it get "worn" as the players tap it on their way out (assuming they touch it on their way out) and not try to keep it "pretty."

Agreed, SJ. Great write up.

I'm looking for big things from Stevie this year. He's now the defensive play-caller, he's got to step it up.

I thought Hursky was taking over the play calling on the defensive side.

Stevie Ray is a middle linebacker and captain. Both of them make calls, but Stevie Ray and Ackley are the captains on that side of the ball.
QB Competition

We have some strong points (not many) but overall […]

Bowling Green

We need to play more physical. Lost that with JSU […]

Charlie Kirk

But all the comments are that he wasn't a leftist.[…]

The poor guy didn’t make it very long. :)
