Russian-Georgian Conflict

Anybody else finding this quickly developing tension fascinating?
A member of my Sunday School class just finished up a tour in Iraq this past month as an Army chaplain. He talked about how much of his time was spent with the Georgian troops who tended to be devoutly Greek Orthodox. Now the US is airlifting them home to Georgia to defend their own land. This has a great deal of potential to have a real impact here in the states considering the access to the Black Sea oil fields.
