Since so much was made about the Obama chick (Michelle Miller) being a Liberty student, I thought that it should be noted publicly and in its own thread that Michelle Miller is not a current Liberty student. What she says doesn't represent Liberty students. She was a student at one time but is no longer enrolled in the school.

...I figured her as an LU student who was not afraid to buck the system and was in it for the long haul.

I had always wondered why there was not a "Young Democrats" club on campus...and was actually intrigued the young lady had the gumption to go public with her support of Obama.

its ridiculous that the media insinuated that she represents a decent sized group of LU students, and she isn't even a student.
I ran her name on the people finder and she wasn't there, so I checked with the administration and they confirmed that she isn't. She should consider not implying that she is an LU student, because she isn't. Obviously she tried that and it didn't work for some reason or another, I'm not sure why.

I guess that standing strong in adversity or whatever it was she said wasn't true. Evidently she couldn't take the heat

after looking at her facebook profile (and being horrified by her ghastly looks), I don't understand at all why in the world she would go to LU in the first place with all her beliefs she lists: support of gay marriage, support of abortion, extreme liberal political beliefs, doesn't like religion. All her beliefs are like the complete opposite of what LU seems like to me...

Sounds like to me she just wanted to be a troublemaker.

she was desperate for attention for one reason or another, probably relating from something that happened in her childhood. This was her way of getting that attention: by going to a school and going against all the rules, standing out as a rebel and eventually in her most glorious moment making the news

And before you claim more cult leader stuff and claim I've been talking to people, all it takes is for someone to look you up, see the stuff that we found, and you'd be kicked out for the things you've written on the internet just like any other person at Liberty would. You would whine and complain that it's because you have a differing viewpoint but the actuality of it is you brought it all on yourself. You can keep crying, and keeping whining that people are intolerant and close-minded, but the fact of the matter is you're only describing yourself. Everyone else sees it. We've asked Obama supporters to come on here and explain why they like him. I have asked that because I don't know who I'm voting for yet. However, you come on here threatening everyone and making claims that everyone is this and that without putting out a single sentence of useful information when asked about a candidate that you're in charge of trying to garner up support for. I'm wondering if you'd even be pulled off of whatever position you have now if your superiors were to read what you wrote on here. I'm not going to send it to them because quite frankly it's not my place to do so. However, you have a public position. What you have done on this board has hurt your candidate, and really your boss, more than if you wouldn't have said a single thing. Yes, in the long run, the couple hundred/thousand people who read this board won't matter a ton. But if this election is close, and it turns out that you turned more people off from Obama (not towards McCain, but away from Obama) then you're going to be the one feeling like an idiot, not us.
