It's cleaner, that's for sure. It'll take some getting used to but will be worth it.

To me it looks pretty much the same....it just looks like the columns are wider...other then that I'm not noticing much but I only looked at the homepage and not profile

The profile is completely different. You don't have to look at all of the stupid applications.

Really the only thing I have facebook for is to cyberstalk and to be cyberstalked. I hated the applications. But the one I did like, My flickr, doesn't work with this new format.

It's different, but I don't really care for it much. I worked so hard  making my page cool, but this new format took all that away. And now who's gonna want to go through all those tabs to see your stuff. I'll tell you who: no one.

Oh wow, I didn't notice the difference before because I didn't take a look at the profile page.

i just automatically switch to the info tab every time since i dont give a crap about what some person i dont know wrote on some persons wall.

also like how the applications arent galvanizing a person's profile anymore

i dont like how they made the whole site wider, i liked the smaller fixed width from the old site.

dont like how they do the photos now. before you could tell when an album was updated, now you dont have any clue which albums are recently updated unless your news feed tells you.

As stupid as some of the applications are, honestly, without them Facebook is basically Myspace. So if they're all going to be pushed aside or made irrelevant, who's going to use them?

FTFY

Without the applications, facebook is what facebook used to be: facebook, not myspace. the applications make it a heck of a lot more like myspace than it was before the applications were added.

I hate the new layout, especially the profiles. What's the point of having applications like Pieces of Flair if nobody can see them?

It's people like you that are helping the terrorists win.

It's alright, but I'd rather have a customizable layout. Drag and drop boxes and columns and delete what you don't want. At least let me swap the left and right columns on the homepage. That layout would be more intuitive.
