I would have assumed the percentage on #3 to be a great deal higher.

Obesity is one of the biggest shams our there today. For example, if you are 6'1 and 228 pounds you are considered obese. Under the normal obesity standards, Vince Redd is obese. Rashad Jennings is obese. Nick Hursky is obese. Alex McLean is considered overweight. Do those guys really look obese or overweight? Not at all. Obesity doesn't take into account body type or muscle mass, just height and weight.

I actually find it hard to believe that the midwest doesn't top the list. While in Iowa and Nebraska I saw more big and tall stores than I've seen in my entire lifetime up until that point.

Im 6'0" and just over 200. I would be a little on the overweight side according to the most basic standard for "overweight" and "obese"

yeah, "obese" is a pretty generic term that comes from using BMI. But, when you survey a large number of people, it averages out to the people measuring obese, really are. There aren't that many guys with Vince's build skewing things.

I'm 6'3 and 240. While I don't agree, I'd be classified as "obese" in any chart. I could stand to lose some pounds but obese may be going overboard.

Ok, then use me for example. This'll get jokes making fun of me, but it's the perfect example.
In that picture, I was 15. I was 6'1, 260 pounds. According to a BMI chart, I was a 34.3. That's well into the obesity range (>30). At that time, I was nowhere near obese. It's the way I was built. You say there aren't many guys like Vince skewing things, but that's why I added Hursky and Godsil onto that list.
