OK - there seems to be many people on this board that play ps3. I have had one for about 4 months now, and it has been fine, but for some reason (today) I can't get the game to come on - or a movie either. I have reset it and all that comes up is the menu and I can't figure out how to start the game. HELP!!!!!!

Thanks

Sony is feeling some gaming-division woes this week with a double PlayStation 3 whammy. First, Sony's PlayStation Web site fell victim to SQL-injection attacks. Now Sony's PS3 firmware update is turning some consoles into bricks.

So is there any fix? Or do I have to replace my PlayStation?

Not the same thing but related, I got on live and updated Assassin's Creed on my 360 and it completely deleted my save game. I had beat it and I was just working on getting it 100% complete. I actually really liked the game so I wouldn't mind doing it over again if I could skip through the long conversations. But you can't.
