LU peeps everywhere

Last week, I took Mrs. Libertine and Lil' Libby up north for an early summer vacation and we stopped in at Hershey Park for the little guy's first-ever amusement rides. It was a bit chilly so my wife was wearing her (mine, actually) LU Football sweatshirt. During the 8 hours we were there, we met a half-dozen people who were either alumni themselves or someone they know currently attends LU.
We're like a virus, man! And we're spreading!

My father wears a LU shirt everyday when he goes on trips praying someone will stop him to talk about LU....it's really embarrassing

I wonder if Brock Smith's family were among those in Hershey you ran into. We stopped by Chocolate World back in March BTW.
Its much tougher bumping into LU alumni down here in Texas. But it does happen.

Proving my point that the majority of intelligent minds hail from the great northeast

, NOT cactus and tumbleweed country.

Last year I ran into people wearing the old LU football shirts from my freshman year here at Carowinds in NC...
Just proof that the greatest minds come from the South.

I don't know LUconn- 33% approval ratings (all time low for a sitting prez) . And I voted for the guy, too.

I was walking in a WalMart parking lot at my dad's house in Greensboro, NC and some guy drove by going real slow. I swore he was flicking me off, so I glanced back and he was indeed giving me the L-U hand sign.
Pretty cool stuff.

So here I am in 30 miles south of my house, shopping at the social center of another small Kansas town, Wal-Mart, and I see this girl walk by wearing LU stuff. Turns out her sister was a nursing major at LU.

Ok, so I stink at trying to tell stories, I always start well and flounder on the endings. Please forgive my ineptitude.

There are alot of LU people down in Texas. When I was over there I ran into a couple of people in San Antonio and Houston while pimping out my LU football shirt
