Do any small towns around you do July 4th parades anymore? I didn't see any listed in the Lynchburg fishwrap, but my hometown in WV used to do one, as did Taylor, Mississippi when I was in grad school at Ole Miss.

I'm sitting around reading my copy of the Declaration of Independence out loud while wearing my Thomas Jefferson costume complete with powdered wig. 'Cuz I am one patriotic motherlover.

I asked my wife to dress up as Sally Hemmings but she just said something about not spreading my disease and walked away.

I have a sick 7 year old at home and picking up my 13 year old from the airport this afternoon so I will be with family just not really doing anything fun.

It's raining cats and dogs here...as soon as we get a break, I'm headed to the driving range with my dad and then back home to some hamburgers and hotdogs.

my wife is working til 10:30 so there goes any plans with her...will be catching a movie this afternoon with a friend and might be going to the hillcats game...not sure though

hillcats had huge attendence tonight! flamefans roll call was me, SJ, bryson, sportscritic, HMO, atrain, TBGBG that i saw, possibly more

Spent it in Clemson, SC...hanging with my wife...taking my son and several of his summer teammates to dinner...
