Me and my wife might just make a Friday/Saturday trip to the beach this week. Wasn't looking to spend a whole lot...somewhere around $75-$110.

Anyone know of any decent places? We were thinking of maybe trying someplace near the Oceanview beach in Chesapeake....

I was thinking more about the fact that there are no trees at Va Beach.

JimFF, you want to drop $75 a night at VA Beach? Even a KOA camping cabin will cost you $80 plus tax (and you have to bring your own sheets): http://www.koa.com/where/va/46109/

If you're looking for cheap...stay in the Kempsville area/downtown VA Beach area (that just seems weird to say) and just drive the extra 5 miles to the beach. The hotel prices drop by about $50 bucks.
