every movie hes' made since the original anchorman has been terrible....i'm sure this will be more of the same.

Talladega Nights wasn't bad. The rest of them have sucked.

His cameo in Wedding Crashers was priceless.

Old School was awesome.


Other than that, not so much.

When is old school 2 coming out???

IMDB says 09 but it also says it hasn't even started filming yet. It also says the status is unknown and doesn't have anyone listed as being cast.


I'm thinking that one's dead.

Am I the only one who doesn't think this movie is very funny? And I like the movies of all of the guys in it. I mean it had it's moments. The scenes with the Dan Band pretty much make me cry everytime. But other than that, meh.

i too thought it was ok but really not that great of a movie...not the amazing movie people make it out to be...

I don't think it was Anchorman/Wedding Crashers quality but it wasn't Semi Pro bad either.

Nope. I hated 'Old School'. 'Semi-Pro' was atrocious -- basically a Woody Harrelson movie with an extended Will Ferrell cameo -- and it was still better than 'Old School'. Everybody forgets this now but 'Old School' was not a Will Ferrell movie. It was a Luke Wilson movie -- guaranteed suckitude -- with a few of his buddies dumped into supporting roles.

I have to admit, I thought Elf was really funny. There, I said it!

The problem with Will Ferrell movies, and this has been magnified since Anchorman, is that the formula goes like follows:

"Will Ferrell as a (insert pitch)"
"Okay, get a framework of a plot."
"Nahh, we'll just let the cast wing it for a bit. We'll give you a final copy in four months."
"Great, here's $80 million."

Old School sucked, IMO.

If you're talking about Will Ferrell, I really liked Stranger Than Fiction.

If you're talking about Judd Apatow, I really liked Knocked Up.
