Stuck in traffic!

Interstate 40 at milemarker 5. NC mtns and way behind a truck wreck. HAZMAT has gone by, too. Stopped dead with car off since 5:00 and now 6:40...And may be a couple more hours. At least it is nice and cool...
...And thank heavens for the 32 oz styrofoam McD cup in the car

Nope...Wife's 08 Accord. 725 PM and rumor is they're fixing to open it back up. I may make junior's game, after all...at least the last part. That's the whole reason I detoured from my dad's in Tenn thru Asheville in the first place.

At least you could roll your windows down and not bake. I sit in traffic like that more often than I care to and I have to have the a/c on to survive.

Now THAT is the idea of the day.
It ended up being 2 hrs and 45 mins. Got to the game in the 4th inning....and home at 315 AM.
