I see the billboard on 29 and I now see a new sign on some landscaping by LU. Who is Brando? My own conclusion is that he was a handicap person working for Southern Air of someone like that? Then I guess he passed away? Anyone know?

I was gonna start this thread last week after seeing the billboard on 29 for like a year and then he's got the one by LU now. I think it's Brandino. I couldn't help but think that billboard is costing them a fortune, it's been up so long.

Yeah...they sure are spending a ton of money in the memory of him, that's for sure. I wish they'd put their logo or something up there...I mean it wouldnt be a selfish thing to do at all, but rather answer many questions.

HMO, I believe his death was the result of a car accident, but you may have the spelling of his name wrong. I remember reading about his death in the Lynchburg fishwrap, but I can't recall many details.

Oh geez, if he was driving then I doubt he was handicapped...that photo really made me think he was...

Just bnecause he was driving doesn't disqualify him from being handicapped. I know quite a few people who are in wheel chairs and are driving these days. I am curious to find out what it means, too. I did some searching on google and only came up with a few Xanga and myspace pages.

According to Mrs. Cider, the guy's nickname was "Brandino," but I couldn't find much with a Google or N&A search.
