Boz, it often is major specific. What's your daughter's major?

I'm probably putting the same thing I put in high school on mine. My sister put it on her high school cap as well. "Don't cry mom."

speaking of that. when i was going to community college i was taking psych 201 and the professor on the first day gave a pep talk for those wanting into the industry....he gave a handout of all the entry level jobs a psych major could get with their degree after 4 years. he listed the hours and the pay. that was tuesday...by thursday the class was basically cut in half.

My wife has a degree in pysch, too. She is now a third of the way done with a Masters in Marriage and Family. At any rate, you almost have to go on in school to find a good job in psych.

All jokes aside, congrats to your daughter - it's a fine accomplishment. Most grads will be saying "Now what?"

It doesn't matter, because if you put anything on your cap you're essentially saying "Look! I'm a d_____bag!"

That would be awesome if someone did that.

I know I have until next May so I have time to decide whether or not to put a saying on mine or not. I may just have a huge sign

Car: $6000 (How much it cost when my family originally got it in 1997 for my older sister...Ive been driving it since 2004)
Tuition: $120,000
Finally Graduating: Priceless

BJ, I'm pretty sure your next of kin will thank you for that debt.

A lot of it was paid for by financial aid so Im not expecting my next of kin to have to pay some amount that high.

How do you plan on either a) fitting that all on your cap or b) carrying a sign through graduation?
