A Sea Of Red

Ok so this was briefly discussed on another thread and I was excoriated for admitting to watching the CW, but this is a great show. It is now on iTunes and if you haven't watched it you can justify yourself by doing so on iTunes and thus not soiling yourself with the CW stain. It is funny, imaginative, well written and acted and I am suprised it wasn't picked up by another "Bigger" network. It looks like they will renew for another season. Some of the highlights (I love lists)
1. Ray Wise is the Devil. He is portrayed as a mafia type with bright white teeth and self tan. (Hell, get it TAN.) It are subtleties like that that make the show great.
2.Missy Pergerym is flat out beautiful. And a good actress. She totally pulls off the girl next door look.
3. There are two gay demons which is just funny in so many ways
4. The two sidekicks are great. We all have friends like them. Espcecially SOCK
5. It is a suprisingly clean show. There is usually one 'scary' scene but that is about it.
6. As a bounty hunter. the lead is given instruments to return souls to hell. Inevitably they are lame things like from infomercials.

This raises a whole series of questions that I am neither prepared to ask nor have answered.

I look forward to the girl joining the group in demon hunting. The guy playing the Devil is the best casting job in TV.

Thank you BADGER I agree. Ray Wise as the devil is GREAT. He is funny and has the role down GREAT. The one thing I am waiting on is what he and his parents are holding back? There has to be a reason the Devil takes a great interest in him and why his dad ripped out a page of the contract. Could he be grooming him to take the "Head" Job?
