Tax rebate stimulus checks coming ahead of schedule

The tax rebate stimulus checks are coming ahead of schedule -- as early as Monday.

The federal government had said the stimulus checks would begin going out at the beginning of May, but President George W. Bush said today that the tax rebate schedule was being moved.

"Starting Monday, the effects of the stimulus will begin to reach millions of households across our country," Bush said today.

Attend one of Elmer Towns' theology classes...he says his out loud, twice. If only I had been paying attention...lol.

But seriously, thats not my real social security number. If there is one thing I know, its never give it out unless absolutely necessary. And for some reason, I fail to see a need for any of y'all to have it :P

I don't think you can sign up, I think it is based on whether or not you used direct deposit when you filed your return this year.

It appears most of our check is going to new countertops (still debating between granite and the new surfaces that seem to be all of the rage). If I can swing a wall-mount out of it I am going to be the newest member of the IRS fan Club. Wait, I think that would make me the only member.

So...if these are being sent out using SS# as the determination factor...how does it work when my wife and I have different dates for our SS#'s...when will the check for the kids come? We filed jointly, so I just assumed everything would come with my number, but now I am not sure....

It goes by whoever's SSN is listed first on the tax return.

Sony Bravia. 1080p. One of the best pictures I have seen even when the program is not in HD. You can get it for under 1200 right now. It was 2000 a few months ago. We got ours for around 1200.
