2 LU students to be in billy graham movie

2 of the guys from the LU theater department flew in jr's jet to tennessee today for a final audition for a movie about billy graham in his younger years. they were auditioning for the part of graham's two close friends. after the first audition about 3 weeks ago, everyone except these two guys were cut. they both had great chemistry with the guy playing graham, and received the parts today.
supposedly they are in just about the whole movie. it should be cool to see 2 current LU students on the big screen.

josh devries (will have the lead role as "tony" in the upcoming production of west side story) and cody carwile (will have a big role in upcoming production of west side story as "diesel" and also had lead role as "file" in the rainmaker).

oh, ok....don't know them, I just asked because i have had a couple classes with a couple guys that do theatre here so I was just curious if it was them or not...
but good for the guys that got it....

That's great news about Cody.... He mom was Dr.Carwile so that's good to be exciting for him.

both guys couldn't be better guys. bad news for the WSS cast though... they will have to miss the last weekend. i guess that means we'll be busting out a couple understudies.

Darn, I was hoping we were going to see Bryson on the big screen in a feature film.

I have also received word from Sharon Hill, one of the casting agents, which ones of you have been tapped for the scenes. If there is an asterisk ** by your name, you have been cast in the scene on the 17th ONLY. If there is no asterisk by your name, you have been cast in scenes for both days on the 16th and 17th.
All of you are excused from classes by the University on April 15, 16, 17, 18.
We...will be staying at a hotel in Lebanon, TN, outside of Nashville (details forthcoming).

I remember when he was just a little runt running around all over the place. His mom was awesome. They were pretty close friends with our family and I know she would be really proud of him. WTG Cody.
