Ok...I'm obsessed with Facebook and it's a little different then most of the college students are obsessed with it. I'm more obsessed with their business practices and format of doing things (the new Google, Firefox type mindset).
I recently started a "business page" so facebooker's can become "Fans" they can post on it's own wall and everything. They also offer free tools such as a tracker to tell you how many people visited your site and how many were unique visitors. Then you can create an add where you choose your target audience (age, gender, status, whatever) and it's VERY cheap. This is some of the best advertising you can do right now.
Also here's an older article about the business of Facebook...but it's a GREAT read...you really need to read it all. Oh yeah it's just a matter of time before the go public...I miss Schorcy so much right now

Oh and the "Business Page" is free...those tools that you can use are free but the Ad's will cost you a few bucks but by far the cheapest form of advertising.
Would anyone guess this kids worth billions now????

1.5 billion and growing fast. They were taking calls on the Mike and Mike show today asking people who would you rather be at age 23, this guy or LeBron James.

Mark Zukerburg, founder and CEO of Facebook. Youngest self-made billionnaire ever.

Perhaps JJ Redick, for you.....you could make all that money & not have waste any energy actually playing in the games.

May have to do that for the podcast -- I'm working on some monetization options, and this could only help me out. PLUS, there may be a vid-cast or two in my future ....

It's great for that man...then you can link them over to your other site...blast all your info to all your friends and their friends and it's really endless...first day I had 130 views and over 60 were unique today I was at 150 and 55 unique...that's great for the first couple days considering I dont even have a lot of viewers yet
I talked to Kevin Keys about starting one for Liberty Athletics and they can blast all of their homegames to all the friends...they would get thousands of hits a day not to mention The Light just made one and I"m sure that'll be successful
maybe FTN can get on here and tell us some of his numbers...I bet they're big

It's hard to oversaturate anything with millions and millions of users!
They didnt say they would, I just hope they do. You have to adapt with the times! Remember what Forbes or Cnet (cant remember) said; Email is for old people. This is the future.
