Anyone remember this movie? I have some deep questions.

I watched this tonight for the first time since I was like, 11.

My questions are....

1. How did he get around the world on a lawn-mower tank of gas?
2. Was Tom Hanks (The narrator) Michael (Elijah Wood) or Bobby (The kid that flew away b/c his step-dad beat him)? He narrates it like he's the older brother, but at the end, his dad asks him if that's how they got Sampson (Sampson was the turtle on the plane with Bobby). If he's Michael, how did he get sampson?? If he's Bobby, why does he tell the story like he's Michael?

And a random observation....

When they get the first post-card from Bobby from the Buffalo farm, it's addressed to Michael and Mom Wright.... yes, that's right.... they were the WRIGHT BROTHERS. I didn't notice that when I was 11.

Tom Hanks is definitely the older brother. I haven't seen this movie since a was little also. It's a clutch childhood movie. When they try to ramp off the barn or something and the kid gets hurt. I remember that. And the kids all beat up the older brother when they're playing football.

It's still a good movie, stuff that seems weirder as you grow up, such as the talking Buffalo.
