Fred Rogers Tribute Includes Sweater Day

PITTSBURGH (AP) — A tribute to children's public television pioneer Fred Rogers will include an effort to get people everywhere to wear a sweater on what would have been his 80th birthday.

March 20th is being promoted as "Sweater Day" to honor Rogers, who died of cancer five years ago. A sweater was his trademark garb on "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood."

Im definitely in for this. I wish I had the Mr Rogers theme on my computer so I could play that in the morning. I always watched Mr Rogers whenever I was home sick from school.

I am going to have to break from the crowd on this one. That dude gave me the willies even when I was a kid. Now looking back it is even creepier. But to each his own.
