Do you people not believe in "Reduce Speed Ahead" signs? I'm driving home today, thinking it's a 65 because that's what it was the last time I looked, and next thing I know it's a 55. There was no warning. There was nothing saying it was coming. How about some warning like, well, every other state I've ever driven in.

The sad thing is when I noticed it, I immediately thought of putting it on here.

Did you know...

Philadelphia has gone over 9,000 days without seeing one of its professional sports franchises bring home a championship?

Eat it, Jimmy Rollins.

The suffering is unbearable. It's gone on my whole life, so close, yet so far. The Eagles were our best chance. And they couldn't get it done 4 straight years.

I'm a 4th generation Cubs fan. It will be 100 years this fall. Deal with it, Philly.

Hey, take your crying to another thread. I want answers. Why don't you pricks have Reduce Speed Ahead signs?

My guess is that it is an extremely large source of revenue.

Oh, and I don't mind crying in any thread about the Cubs.

No, I'm not dealin with it. The Bulls have won enough times to make up for that 100 years. We're not talking about one sport, we're talking about one city.no idea about the speed limit

By the way, there was a cop car parked on an overpass on I-81 reaching his radar gun over the side of the bridge clocking people. I have no clue why.

I'm still trying to figure out where you can manage to get up to 65 MPH with all of those crappy roads. That turnpike has to be the worst highway in America.

I was on I-81.

And I was going 80.

because there's not enough money in the state budget for the additional "reduced speed ahead" signs.

that would double the budget.

be glad there were signs at all.

but you won't normally get pinched until + 15 or so.

The only place on I 81 in PA where to speed dips to 55 that I know of is in the Carlisle area where there have been a numer of deaths in recent years. Apparently in the past, kids would travel around 80 mph around the 18 wheelers who were slowing down to get off at that point causing a lot of problems.

At least in that area there are signs everywhere commemorating the deaths, explaining the reduction in speed etc. Maybe you were someplace else.
