What is everyone's take on the New York Times article?

Personally, I think it is crap. As much as I dislike McCain's views on several key issues, I have a lot of respect for the guy. He didn't give some Washington BS denial of the alligations. He came right out and said he didn't do it. That being said, if he did do it, he is sunk and Huck will be happy he stayed in the race. (see again my first sentence in this paragraph)

This could be the best thing that ever happened to Johnny, though. Rush and Sean Hannity have quickly jumped to his defense and it seems that this is the issue they can stand with him on. The article could well win him the White House.

I don't like McCain. That said, this article means nothing. It's a rehash of the same story that came out 8 years ago.

Unless there is much more to the rumors than face value, it will be a non-factor by the weekend. It was a whole lot of hype over not much.

Agreed. Just not much in the way of evidence.

I think McNominee if finding out that the "press" don't REALLY like him other then the fact that he makes conservatives mad.
