I turn 29 this year and I'm still in it. I anticipate that I'll ride it right into middle age.

Teaching college kids and hanging out with them keeps you from having it. Works for me.

I can't vouch for the teaching part, but hanging out with them never helped me.

Just resign yourself to the fact that you're a failure and will never amount to anything. Then have kids.

That way your expectations are low and anything good that happens is awesome (did you see 60 Minutes Sunday on Denmark?).

I keep singing John Mayer every time I see the topic name...

One of the best songs I have ever heard...

Love it...

Sorry to hear that, Ed: 26 is definitely the "wrong side of 20" as you are now closer to your 30s than you are your teen years. Time to start shopping for the mid-life crisis vehicle purchase and begin working on your comb-over. If you aren't married by then, forget it, because it's never going to happen; if you are married and your wife is the same age, this is her prime child-bearing years (I'll let the fathers on here explain what that means).

My kid is turning 16. I just found out how much auto insurance is........... I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry. And you're sad cause you're 26. Big Freaking Deal!

23 wasn't fun for me.. 22 still has some youthful sounding in it, however, 23 just sounds old to me, IMO.
