That's the same type thing I've seen at least a half dozen sites. Same exact dialogue. It's actually funny.

500 dollar fine for "immorality"?? WHAT, how do they even define that?
So basically, every LU student should be getting fined 500 dollars since no one is 100% moral...
I can understand the other rules given the type of school LU is, but immorality?? That seems like a pandora's box to me if that were enforced a lot, just imagine how much can be interpreted as "immoral"

Those lame-duckling runners make us sound like we're from the worst university in the world! I bet 90% of those dudes who posted on that thread aren't actual runners.....And what's the worst they've done? I'm sure I've a lot worse than whatever they did before I came here.....

NSL, get used to it, but don't let it get at you.

I have never heard of it being enforced or anything like that, but I am thinking it is a catch all for something sexual that doesn't fall under another rule.

what gets me is when someone on there is saying, "who cares, they chose to go there" there are like 2 or 3 guys that go off on them for saying stuff like that....
I have never found the Liberty Way to be THAT bad...aside from a few minor things here and there, its how i try to live my life anyways...

Well since runners wear REALLY short shorts, spend time on trails in the woods and bend over to tie their shoes alot................$500 fine! (Heck just for the SHORTS!) Any truth to the rumor that most runners get their shorts from the same supplier as Hooters?

Alright. Listen. I go to the running board and and my school is getting busted on. Then I come back to my school's board and my sport is getting busted on. Not cool.

Uh, oh. You just opened a can that I'm not sure you want the contents of on your shirt.
I'll spare you the entire argument and go straight to the heart of it. Running may not be a sport by definition, but the footrace is the original sport . Consult your Bible for more info on that one.

i actually think the "is _______ a sport?" debate is one of the corkonthefork retarded arguements out there....because everyone seems to define "sport" completely differently... i personally don't care...
