See the tombstones of famous people and celebrities, find famous people buried in your hometown. You may even find pictures of the tombstones of relatives---I did.

Unfortunately I must admit that as a genealogist (i.e. family history geek) I have used this site for years.

Did you add your family members? I actually saw my grandfathers headstone which I had not seen since he died in 1986. I had know idea it was online. I don't even know who added it. I think its cool that you can do that. I did see that the website has been around for quite a few years. I was actually doing a search for a tv star from the 1960's (Nacy Kulp, Bev. hillbillies) and came across the website.

There are retired people with plenty of time on their hands and a sense of purpose who have been systematically taking pics of graveyards across the nation for about ten years now. Its a massive project but they are doing a fantastic job.

Wow. I was wondering who took pictures of my family.

I've looked at the site for a couple years as well. I'm sure seeing the grandeur of Jerry's site will tick off some of his enemies. :)
