I agree, but I know some of you may not. Thought it was a pretty good article.

If there was a conservative candidate still in the running, this article might hold some truth.

I still don't like McCain but that article makes a good case for him.

Well written article. Look there are things I do like about McCain, but things I loathe as well. I just thought we could have a better chance of getting a true conservative farther than this. It is very disappointing.

I totally agree, but I will still vote for McCain over Obama or Hillary.

I would vote Obama over McCain.
I would vote Obama over Romney.
However, if it comes down to that, I will have more options than just R vs. D
So I would vote Paul.
Now, if it's Huck... I would vote for him.
And I might consider McCain if somehow Huck runs as his VP.
And I wouldn't vote for Obama is Hillary ran as VP.

The only way McCain, or Romney for that matter, have a chance at getting the conservative vote is if they add someone like Thompson or even Paul on to the ticket.
McCain just doesn't care about them and Romney can't win them by himself.

Bill Kristol needs to step outside the beltway every once in a while and stop looking at people down through his nose. This piece does not help things in the least. Way to carry the manlte of conservatism, Bill, I hope nobody takes this as sound advice before the convention is over.
