what are you doing for the superbowl...
i'm going to a friends house...there will be the game on downstairs and the wives and kids will be upstairs...
i'm in charge of brisket and wings...i'll be doing 2 briskets and about 300 wings...
our host will be in charge of ribs...he has about 10 racks he'll be doing...i wished i'd never asked how he was going to prepare them.....he will boil them for 2 hours and then grill them for 15 minutes....
mmm that sounds....delicious?
i've got plenty of room in the smoker...

I'm hanging out with Fred McGriff and we're going to skip the Super Bowl and watch baseball skills videos.

Austin? You need to hit me up for local info before your trip, Mallet.
We're not going anywhere for the game this year. Usually Mrs. Sly rounds the kids up and goes somewhere while I am working. But this is my first time to be home for one in a long time so we are going to gather around the Fox's den. My understanding is that we will be devouring the standard wings & such that is off the FirstPlace diet that it seems like everyone I know is on these days.
Then again, I've got beef in the freezer and a grill out back. You guys are starting to inspire me.

Lotsa junk food at home this year. I was tempted to get a 54" TV and have something at church, and DARE the NFL to complain, but I don't have that kind of authority.
And I was going to make a mess of crawfish pies for the game, but WalMart wants $7 a pound for mudbug tails. Not worth it this year.

Mallet, you know someone who is ruining 10 perfectly good racks of ribs by
boiling them, are you still call him your "friend"?

I'm curious to get a review on those ribs. I have to admit that I've never heard of that method being emplyed.

Becki Falwell invited The LUnatics over to her and Jerry Jr's house and that's where we all watched the game. I have to say those are two of the coolest people on the planet.

Yes I name dropped the crap out of that.
The new g/f let me take an ATV into the woods for an hour without even asking a question. Then, she went out with us when we took it out during halftime. So screw you, my girlfriend's awesome.
