Question about Liberty E-Mail

I still have my liberty e-mail address, even though I graduated back in 2003. In fact, it's the e-mail address I use the most.

Unfortunately, I've been getting a bunch of spam (usually 7-10 messages a day). I'll put them in my junk e-mail folder, but that doesn't seem to do anything. I'll still get spam mail from the same people. I even get e-mails in my inbox that are identified as spam... and yet, it doesn't automatically go to my junk e-mail. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

whats probably happening is that the messages that are marked [spam] are just getting through the spam filter as "probably spam". to deal with such a large network of email addresses they have to do this because if they just automatically discarded the tagged email messages, many legitimate emails will get blocked and create and uproar.

you are getting 7-10 messages a day because i'm assuming the network dept has their spam software cranked down because they don't want to deal with the false positive problem.

just putting that email in your junk mail folder won't do anything. if you are using outlook you have to actually add them to the list.

to be honest. 7-10 really isn't terrible. it isn't great but for the network setting you are in i've seen worse...

of our company of 25, we avg 7 spam messages a day between all of us....and some have had their email addresses for 10 years...

Yeah, my e-mail address is almost 8 years old... I never had a problem until recently, but that was because I once gave my e-mail address away.

But give me a break! Seriously, when the son of Nigeria's deposed king e-mails you directly asking for help, you help!
