I remember when I was younger school would be out....but it seems as I have gotten older less and less places close down, which I don't quite understand....but Liberty is pretty consistent on not giving any of these federal holidays off....so its not really that big of a deal....but i know others that do not feel the same

My mom works for the Commonwealth...she had Friday off (Lee/Jackson day) and gets today off as well. Yes, I'm mad about that

I've already been cussed out today. Twice. By Liberty Students.
I love my job.

Everyday is a holiday if you want it to be when you are self-employed.
Of course I'm watching three mall kids this morning by myself so it doesn't feel much like a holiday.

MLKjr Day is a sacred cow in the public schools. When it snowed (way back before Bush had ruined the environment) we would ALWAYS have today off...even if we had to go to school on a Saturday (did it once in 2002, I think). Presidents' Day is the first make-up day for us, which stands to reason because George Washington and Abraham Lincoln are WAY less important than MLKjr.

I think he wears the Ronald McDonalds suit and hangs out at the Wards Road Mc Donalds.

I don't even walk in the business office as a student. No way would I ever work there.
I'm on the other side of campus.
