Heal or Hurt...(best run sports franchise...past 10 years)

I see some of you are bored. We played this game on another message board and it was fun. Here are the rules. Every day you can move two points on the board. You can take two points from one team or one point from two different teams. After you have taken the points, you must give them to another team(s). You can give a team two points or two teams one point. Once a team reaches zero, they are eliminated.

Choose who you think (in your opinion) is the best run sports franchise. Take into account championships, playoff appearances, regular season and playoff records, money spent, etc. Only include years from the past ten years. This is an opinion, so no arguing about someone elses votes. Again, you may only participate once per day.

Best run professional sports franchise

Here are the teams:

New York Yankees (10)
Boston Red Sox (10)
New England Patriots (10)
San Antonio Spurs (10)
Detroit Red Wings (10)
Detroit Pistons (10)
Pittsburgh Steelers (10)
Indianapolis Colts (10)
Atlanta Braves (10)
Dallas Cowboys (10)
LA Lakers (10)
Dallas Mavericks (10)

* I move that the Red Wings don't count. You can't have a best-run franchise in a sport that no one watches.

Also -- I know that there is no arguing someone else's vote, but can I argue to defend mine?

IN ANY event, since I think this thread is cool, I figure that the Red Wings will be eliminated on their own anyway. And since it is a new day, I'm going to take the Liberty of making my second post.

-1 Braves --
-1 Mavericks -- because they are two of the three here not to win a Championship in the last 10 years.

+1 Yankees - Because like them or hate them, they are undervalued with only seven points...
+1 New England Patriots - Because.

New York Yankees (eight)
Boston Red Sox (11)
New England Patriots (13)
San Antonio Spurs (13)
Detroit Red Wings (11)
Detroit Pistons (10)
Pittsburgh Steelers (eight)
Indianapolis Colts (10)
Atlanta Braves (14)
Dallas Cowboys (7)
LA Lakers (7)
Dallas Mavericks (eight)

-- By the way, I spell "eight" because if you try to put the number 8 in parentheses, it looks like this: (8)

-1 NYY - Just because your money is a smart business man to form the TV network and spends money like I do in monopoly, doesn't mean you team is well run.
-1 DAL - Again - owner is too involved and they are too shaky in management
+1 NEP - the guy bought the team for like 125 Million an now it's worth more than a billion dollars - enough said.
+1 Braves - They know how to run a farm system, keep good players, and win year after year.

Now:

New York Yankees (7)
Boston Red Sox (11)
New England Patriots (17)
San Antonio Spurs (13)
Detroit Red Wings (11)
Detroit Pistons (11)
Pittsburgh Steelers (eight)
Indianapolis Colts (10)
