hawaii played 2 teams that rank anywhere in the top half of all of college football...fresno st (55) and boise st (21)...the rest...turds...

Looks like we got ourselves a good one. If only we could see these two teams play in real life...

how the heck do 9 people think Hawaii is even remotely good enough to beat Missouri??? I know Missouri isn't a great team by any means...but come on...stop sipping the ESPN kool-aid....Colt Brennan is not God....

Sooooo were tied
This cant be good

I figured this one would either be a very close vote or a tie. You have two very good QBs in Chase Daniel and Colt Brennan and two very high octane offenses.
Ive thought about what would happen if a poll ever finished tied so Im not too worried either way

Well the voting is over and apparently the populous here is pretty evenly split as to the winner of this matchup. I punched it into WhatIfSports.com and in the battle of two very good QBs, Hawaii moves on 43-24. Colt Brennan throws for 317 yards and 3 TDs but is picked off 2 times. Chase Daniel throws for 214 and a TD but the Warriors move on to play Ohio State in the second round

Well hey, I punched it into the simulator and that is what it came out with. Im not just going to keep punching it in 3 or 4 times and get the result that you want man.

Why not?

by RagingTireFire
Yeah, if the simulator was that good it should come up with the same result every time.

Well, I changed the conditions 3 times, and Hawaii still won...and it wasn't even close each time. Hawaii moves on...end of story

this is a crock....hawaii sucks and so does their "great" quarterback....

Im sorry this doesn't jive with ya postman...I honestly do not know who all voted for who. The question simply asked who wins, and the people obviously are very well split. I have zero influence over who the folks around here vote for, and the only control I have over the simulator is selecting the teams and hitting "play game"

that's funny because every peice of tangible information says the opposite.

I know that BJ....but I just want to know who the heck voted for hawaii and why......they seem like a quiet bunch

Yeah I will admit it porobably has its problems (heck what program doesnt). I am using it because its the only sim program that I could find that doesn't require downloading, and I still get tangible numbers to put with each matchup. For what its worth, I did change the conditions around on a few of the games and they actually made the scores even more lopsided in favor of the teams that won the first set of games

espn.com has one.

I actually did experiment with that one yesterday. Unfortunately it determines winners via vote only (not to mention sometimes the team with fewer votes ends up moving on), but it was an interesting little tool.

id vote for Hawaii if i could find where the freakin heisman bowl votes are goin on at.
and if you wanna talk about playing cupcakes, lets talk OSU. does anyone REALLY believe they should be playing LSU for the national title? they beat, well, um, ZERO team that were ranked in the top 20 when they played them... oh right, and they lost at HOME to UNRANKED Illinois, who is onyl going to the rose bowl b/c the BCS expanded the criteria for selecting teams PRECISELY b/c the big ten sucked it up so bad this year they didn't think they'd have a team eligible for that game.
Hawaii at least beat a ranked team in Boise St. in what was a VERY good game, but im guessing the haters didnt stay up to watch it.
And btw, there are two reasons hawaii cant get a hard schedule:
A. none of the big boys will play them b/c they are terrified of losing
B. by NOT playing them, they can whine that Hawaii didn't play anyone good.
That is all...

this is the most unsmart post of this whole thread...your first paragraph is irrelevant to the discussion
and they were lucky to beat boise st. a game i watched....and your A and B points are hilarious...
