I am willing to bet money his reps are appealed.....Student Court Judges are pretty reliable to drop these types of reps

Disrespect? The love-birds need double that for disrepute.

Seriously, I can understand Jon getting 6 reps, if and only if, these two got reps. I'm sure they didn't though.

wow they "dealt" with you.
while 6 reps suck, i'm assuming they didn't give him a lashing. they were like, "look, lets do this so i can tell those retard lovebirds i took care of it. seriously, if they come into my office one more time i'm going to drive my car off a cliff."

I thought the "disrespect" rule was only disrespect directed at RAs. Who says you have to respect everybody else?

I don't know. I think I smell an "all chicks are awesome and we're lucky they exist" mentality at work here.

Sorry if the board is slow right now with all of the posts being on a single page. It's related to this and I will explain later.

Anybody got a name on this cat? I think I feel some personalized disrespect coming on.

I guess it takes bandwidth to archive the original thread into a password protected realm in which we can all visit at our leisure.

so does LU control the internet now? How do they make the thread come down? Unless we're playing nice.

Alright, since everyone seems to care so much, I'll go ahead and post what happened.
To start with, the meeting was at 1:30. I didn't go back to the Dean's office until 1:57. He said sorry for being late, he was reading the rest of the thread.
We talked, everything was respectful, all that good stuff. He said that he didn't think it was harassment, but didn't want me to leave his office without punishment. He gave me the six reps for being disrespectful to the girl. He said that he could've also written me up for Abusive Language which is 12-18 reps for the innuendos and other things that were said. He also said he could've written me up for the Julie Carroll pictures.
When it all came down to it, here's the punishment:
6 reps
No fine
Take the thread down
I told him I was not an administrator and couldn't take the thread down. I also told him it's unlikely it'll get taken down because there were too many people on here that liked the thread. He instructed me to tell the administrators that if they don't take it down, he'll give me six more reps for direct disobedience. He told me to have the administrators call or e-mail him if they didn't want to take it down.
He said that he didn't want to write me up for harassment but wanted me to have something on my record for this instance.
Everything was polite and respectful, I just disagreed.
Oh yea, I also brought up the point of, "If I'm getting in trouble, you have to write up every student and faculty member on the board." He ased me who the faculty members were and I said that it wasn't pertinent in the conversation so I didn't want to say. He also asked me how I found out it was for harassment and I told him I had a friend check for me. At that point I think he realized I wasn't giving up any names. He asked if I was ok with being the only one getting in trouble and I said yes.
Also, the person who called me did it without the couple knowing. In other words, they've never tried to contact me at all. Period.
Anything else, just ask.

I mean did we really take the orginial thread down? Come on! They cant blame SJ for something out of his control!
I'm gonna give SJ 1 billion reps if he doesnt have the article about LSU football taken down off the ESPN.com website!!!!!! I hate LSU...He better do it!!!

This bothers me. Not because he wants Sly to contact him, but because he wants to punish you for something you have no control over. Nicely played, Dean. Way to leverage a student's academic career and wallet for the sake of censorship.

just email sly and anyother administrator with a "please take this down" print it off send it to him.
if they dont' there is no possible way he can punish you for that. he can try but now hes trying to play internet police...

I know they're not going to take it down. They told me they wouldn't. I laughed when he told me he'd write me up if they didn't.
