if you are in to instrumental music, i recommend checking out these guys. the palmless prayer/mass murder refrain album is VERY beautiful.

PS - there is another band called mono and they have released an album that has singing, but that is not the band i'm talking about.

wikipedia says they are often compared to mogwai. last.fm and pandora compare them to mogwai and other similar bands.
