A Sea Of Red

Ok, now it's my turn. I tried to sync up my iPod today so I could listen to my new stuff in the car, and I keep getting the same message:

iPod cannot be synced. Unknown error (-28).

What can I do to make it work? I've installed the newest version of iTunes, I've tried plugging my USB cord into different ports, and I have no clue where to go from here.

what type of PC??? MAc or PC

Home built PC that has not giving me any trouble at all in the nearly four years I've had it.

Do a hard reset on the iPod.
