Human Weapon

I'm wondering if anyone has watched that show Human Weapon on the History channel...I pretty much Tivo anything MMA and so I recorded one of these...did it seem a little fake to anyone else? Even though they were in a "real" MMA fight there was very very very little punching to the face so I was wondering if anyone else thought it was a little fluffed up....heck I may be the only person who's ever seen it

Seen it. Not impressed. It looks like they're going out of their way to not make the hosts look bad.

it's not a good show. Those dudes are too nerdy. Have you seen the commercials for that new one on discovery? I think it's called Last One Standing. I've already set my DVR for it because it's on at the same time as The Office. It's basically guys that go join some uncivilized tribe who fights a lot and they learn how to fight with them. And a lot of fighting ensues. It looks pretty good because one of the dudes is completely ripped and looks like he could rip your spine out. I want to see him hand it to one of those half naked tribesmen.

I LOVE Human Weapon. It does seem more like an exaggerated sparing match, but it is neat to see the history of these different styles. MY two fav were the French and the Israeli. ALthough I am REAL certain they were not messing around on that final fight. (Or the stick fighting either). Sure those guys are nerdy looking but that is half the fun.

Just set my DVR to record Last one Standing...I'm in the same boat about thursday but it also comes on Friday at 1:00am so we're good
I agree purple, that is neat to see the different facts and history that each style involves
