Medic, you will be happy to know I finally went to a Wawa here in Norfolk, VA (I'm with our men's tennis team). I got a cup of coffee, and while it is good its really not all that different than Sheetz. However, I prefer McDonald's above all and Starbucks remains my #2.

I live 2 blocks from a giant Wawa and I agree with you (sorry Medic!, my Philly brother) with one exception.
Next time you are at Wawa, see if they are offering Kona coffee - it is the same cost and it is fantastic......

I frequent a Wawa not far from my house. I don't much do the coffee thing (never have so its nothing against Wawa coffee), but I enjoy their shakes and their subs.

Wawa subs are far superior to Sheetz subs.

McDonalds? Come on.. not even a comparison to the 'bucks and/or Wawa. Sheetz is a distant third.

McDonalds creams Starbucks in Coffee survey

Friday, February 02, 2007

Consumer testers in the US have declared coffee from McDonald's better than the brew at Starbucks.

The burger chain's Premium Roast was chosen as the tastiest by Consumer Reports magazine.

It also beat the offerings at Burger King and Dunkin' Donuts.

yeah I was surprised that it beat DD coffee. I don't like coffee too much myself, but some people are obsessed with Dunkin Donuts coffee. They say it gets better the closer you get to their homeoffice. Which is in Mass somewhere.

Umm, just how much coffee have you bought from McD's? Trust me, it tastes the bests...but doesn't wake me up like Starbucks does.

Postman - how long has it been since your wife has been to a Wawa?
The reason I ask is they did a major upgrade to their coffee service about 2 years ago.

Where is medic :?: :?: :?:

you are correct. I personally prefer the French Vanilla, 20 oz size in one of my two WAWA travel thermoses, with the slider/sippy lids.

was enjoying one of these at 0100 hrs this AM, in fact (not much to do on nightworks)

yes- 15 runs in a 24 hr period. We've been getting beat up- what with people tossing themselves out second story windows, wrecking motorcycles, and simply losing consciousness at random intervals.

I'm looking forward to snow and everyone staying indoors for a while. I also need sleep. 2 hrs in the last 48.

I would also recommend the 10" Classic size Meatball sub with provolone.

Oy. I've been there, brother. Although, I've never had to exert myself in the way you do for you job. Hang in there.

I take pride in being able to convert Bigsmooth into a milkshake fan at WAWA!!!! Its kind of funny on the way to A.C you just take a left at every WAWA for about 40 miles and boom you are there....Also the 10 inch Italian is a big winner in my book!!! What will it take to get one down here?????

I almost said, "I'll show you a 10 inch Italian" but thought that was over the line.
