A Sea Of Red

i talked to the manager today... so i thought i'd give an update to people not on the inside who have had some questions

first of all, the jersey's are imitations of the current white ones.. suposedly. the AD department chose the number (11, Stevie Ray Loyd), not the bookstore.
i tried to talk them into getting red jerseys, and she said she may. so we'll have to see on that one, but the athletic department didn't tell her we had red, but i convinced her after a small argument that we do have a red alternate. i doubt they get any made though, but we'll see.
The jersey's are selling fast, they sold out at the last game (i think about 60), and i think there taking the rest of the stock there tomorrow. so if you are wanting one you probably should get it quick.

also, they just got in some nice hoodies that are from Champion Custom. they have the LU Football logo on the front and say liberty football on the sleeve. i'll upload a picture later, its on my phone but i don't feel like trying to get it here right now. these hoodies are really nice, but they are $60. thats a decent price for what it is, but i'll wait for a discount or something. i'm poor. if i come across some money by some random chance though i'll probably buy one

any other questions? I'll try to ask and get them answered as soon as i can

$60 for a hoodie is a good price? That's frickin highway robbery.

i can go to wal-mart and get a hoodie for like 20 bucks and MAKE an exact replica of the design and put it on the hoodie myself and the overall price tag would still come in at under 40 bucks. LC's bookstore is fairly pricey and their hoodies don't even cost that much.

go to Wally or Sam's. buy the shirt make the design yourself....

I was GOING to make a snide comment about prices being cheaper when you don't have a DI Football team to promote- but I won't, because that would be piling on, and I'm starting to like SHUCKS

I went to the bookstore yesterday hoping to get a new red shirt. I looked around, and there's not a single red shirt worth paying for in that entire bookstore.

have you looked at LU shirts in wal-mart? i thought they were pretty nice and at leass than 10 bucks i'm sure its cheaper than justa bout everything in the bookstore.

As for my FlameFans shirt, I'll never wear it to a game. There's no chance of getting on tv while advertising for this board.

no less stupid than other LU regalia i've seen that's most likely been purchased for a mugh higher price tag at the bookstore. not intended to be an LU insult, ive noticed all college bookstores i've been to have some stupid clothing items LC included.

wrong.. i wore one last week and we were on tv like 5 times

That's more cause we were one of 12 people with our face painted. They don't show it much. It happened in basketball season all of the time. Anytime the board was mentioned it was blocked out.

They have the classic Varsity style of shirt, which is somewhat generic, but not really stupid I don't think. I bought it for warmer weather games, but I'm switching it up to the athletic logo when it gets a little cooler.

I'm looking for stuff with the athletic logo. I don't think we release it to anyone but the bookstore and U-Tees.

i'm pretty sure walmart has the logo on some shirts. i don't remember what S & B'S had

The Cotton Connection (next to Texas Inn), has the athletic logo, because that's where we bought our Quiz Bowl polo shirts.
