No groups exist




What does this mean? Are we allowed to form some kind of message board gangs? If so, I want to start one called the "I-A now!" gang. We'll rumble with all you "I-AA is good too" folks at the tailgates.

What are Usergroups?
Usergroups are a way in which board administrators can group users. Each user can belong to several groups (this differs from most other boards) and each group can be assigned individual access rights. This makes it easy for administrators to set up several users as moderators of a forum, or to give them access to a private forum, etc.

We can set them up. But frankly I hadn't seen the merit in it up to this point. But if the people demand them, I'm game.

No, I still don't even really understand what they are. Are they just some kind of classification of posters? Like you could stick a bunch of users in the "idiot" usergroup and have them branded as idiots?

It's so you can do a "Liberty" usergroup, a "Coastal" usergroup, etc so that we could have a Liberty Only forum like Coastal does.

Yup. There's a "CoastalFans Only" board that I used to get access to. Not too much goes on in there though, or at least it didn't when I could read.
