Anyone have one that doesn't sound like you are in a tunnel? We had a Uniden and it was really bad and now we have at&t and it is not good either.

I have had the most trouble with peice of junk cordless phones. We've got a good sytem right now. It's got one base w/ answering machine if you need one. And it comes with 4 phones with 3 seperate chargers so you can have 4 different locations with a phone but only need to plug it into 1 phone outlet. I'll look to see what brand and model it is when I get home. It's really the first cordless phone I've not had any static with unless you're outside walking down the street.

our family has owned every cordless phone ever made...we've decided that Panasonic makes the best for us, we have the 4 phone system. It's important for us to get a good system for up here where there is powerlines everywhere you look

I've had several Panasonics over the last 12 years or so and they've worked well and last for a long time. Sometimes you can find a good clearance deal at Target.
