Perez says it's true. I don't know about his credibility, but my wife says he's always in the know. This is huge. I can just taste the cigars...

is it? I'm sure they didn't think he was immortal. Surely there's a communist contingency plan.

This is not the first time that this rumor has circulated. Someday it will be true. Maybe today is the day.

If it is true, there will be a party in Miami.

I have taken a number of trips to Cuba working with churches and have many friends there. The people know that his death is inevitable, but it is difficult to know what will happen. Hopefully, it will open an opportunity for change in their government that will allow for better treatment of the people.

Perez put that up about a week ago. And yes he (its not his real name ... he's a Cuban-American gossip guy based on L.A.) tends to be pretty solid in his scoops. But that doesn't mean he isn't wrong.

There have been rumors of his death circulating for about six months now.

When I hear about Castro's death it brings back to mind the Samuel Clemens quote "The stories of my death have been greatly exaggerated"
Although, the word on the street is that the medical problems he had last year were pretty serious. After his first one, he was supposed to wear a colostomy bag, but refused and told the physicians (and according to Michael More they are the best in the world) to perform the surgery so he wouldn't HAVE to have a "bag". Well it didn't work and he got "backed up" shall we say and that is when they flew the Dr. in from Spain.
