I'm sensing a violation of the Liberty Way.

It doesn't say we hafta go to church. I basically go to church 7 times a week: 3 days of evangelism, 2 days of New Testament, and 2 days of GNED.

Actually, no one that I know went to church this morning.

I do too.

This could get ugly.

The old hags are gonna kill me for not going to church.

I was wrong. I had one friend go to church. A girl asked him to go with her tonight so he went.

I don't think I ever had fellowship or communion or true accountability or service in ANY of my classes at LU.

Heb 10:25 kept me going and connecting with the Christian body for the express purpose of worshipping

SJ... I don't think of you any less :) (not that you should care anyway) just don't brag about being lazy on Sunday :)

Am I going to have to move this thread to The Chapel?

I see it no different as being lazy on Saturday or Thursday or any other day of the week. That's one of the many places I differ with 90% of the LU community.

Dude, the secret is wake up around 12:00 before people are back, grab a shower throw on a tie and head to the dinning commons, then everyone will assume you went!! Then go back and take a nap. Avoids a lot of unecsessary complications!

Haha, actually, these days, all you'd hafta do is throw on a pair of pants and a polo shirt and they'd think you went. The only time I see ties on campus are from professors or when someone has a presentation due in a class.

Speaking of ties:

I think I still have one of those 1" wide skinny leather jobs we used to insist on wearing back in the day. I'll have to FedEx it down to ya SJ.

throw on some parachute pants and you'll be a chick magnet.

I went to church...in a T-Shirt and Jeans. No, I don't go to Campus Church, I go off campus to Hyland Heights

is that how it's spelled? "hyland"? That's weird.

Also in relation to this thread, I think it's funny how LU students always try to justify everything they do that they know the school frowns at. I did it for 4 years. It seems like just yesterday that I was counting how many times I went to church per week. Where has the time gone?

Yep...its Hyland with a Y...I had a teacher in high school whose last name was spelled like that too.
