Mrs. SumItUp is beginning to labor and we should have a new baby girl within the next few hours. Perfect timing while the other children are asleep.

Advice to expecting fathers: Don't take Benadryl before going to bed when your wife is nearing her due date. It makes it difficult to wake up in the middle of the night.

More important advice to expecting fathers: Don't tell your wife that you are too tired to get up for the birth because you took Benadryl before going to bed.

that sounds like a fun way to have a baby. We had to "make an appointment". No excitement in that at all.

Sum. Congratulations. Again. You are leaving me in the dust in the kid dept but that is ok with me and MRS SCAR. We had dinner with another couple the other night with 3 kids. One is 3 and the other 2 are 6 month old twins. They made it look very easy but I am not falling for THAT old trick Maybe we will have little ones soon but in the mean time, I am happy my old classmates are procreating Maybe we will see you at a Tailgate or two with family in tow?

Healthy baby girl (Lily Adele) was born this morning at 6:15 AM CST. Mom and baby are doing well. The brothers and sisters are going to spend the day with friends so Mrs. SumItUp can rest.

No, we never left the door. The baby was born in our home under the watch of a midwife.

I go back and forth on the issue. I do like kids though. Other people's. I am not getting any younger though so that may be a factor. MRS SCAR is still young though so we have time. Sum. Congratulations man. Nice to see that your priorities are in order too. Nothing should stop you from posting on ff.com I know when HMO gets married and has kids, he will be posting from the delivery room with his iphone
