i don't play the games online, but this is a bunch of crap. the new nba live doesnt even come out until early october at best but they are discontinuing online play for 06 more than a month in advance?? wow, way for EA to really let down fans yet again, what a surprise. if it weren't for the fact that nba live is about the only basketball game on a PC that can even come close to resembling decency (the 06 incarnation was horrible), i would refuse to deal with ea sports.

Well the '06 version is nearly two years old. You could play the NBA Live '07 version online while you wait for the new '08 version to come out. I don't see this as a big deal. All those games are around 2 years or older.

Yeah, but NBA live '07 isn't on the list. The only '07 game on the cut list is the college baseball game of which I think was very unpopular. I don't think this will affect very many people. For those it affects, I've seen College football '07 and Madden '07 for less than $15 used.
