My bro-n-law is doing a promotion for Panasonic at Mountain Dew's Action Sports Tour in Cleveland. I volunteered to help him out and do some pre event surveys. After spending 2 hours asking people on the street to do the surveys, I still need about another 60 surveys completed (I don't want to be doing this all night). I want to be honest in this (I can't tell you how I've thought about just filling 50 out myself), so I thought I would post it on here and see if you guys wouldn't mind completing the survey for me. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Give it to as many people as you know and post it on here if you have the time. Thanks!

You are AWESOME!! Now I need another 50 or so people to fill it out and I won't have to return to the street!!
People don't like giving survey's on the street! Especially when it is hot!

From this message board and another I have about 10 so far (about 40 total when you add in my street work) I need around 100. Thanks for the help so far. If you have spouses or other relatives (ages 13 and up) and if they have the time, have them fill one out as well!
Thanks again. I am going to be a whole lot nicer to people doing surveys in the future after this experience!
I still need more so keep them coming!!!!!!

Belcher, for what purpose is this survey being sent out? Is it to establish the reliability and validity of the survey instrument? Dew Action Sports Tour (DAST) contracted with me and some colleagues in 2005 to perform fan/attendee awareness and attitude studies toward sponsors (which included Panasonic). We collected these on-site and the results were part of sponsorship recaps for DAST. You should check with your brother on this because data collection (e.g., where is will be collected, who it will be collected from, and how it will be collected) are in largely regulated by contractual agreements. I do not want to rain on any parades; however, as someone who does this for part of his living (i.e., when I am not teaching bored college kids) and who deals with sponsorship agreements (DAST included) on a regular basis, I just want to make sure that eveything is on the up and up. Also, I would not suggest you filling out the surveys yourself.

I'll check again to make sure, but I was told to find anyone with a pulse to fill it out. They just wanted a 100 of them. Thanks for the heads up, I don't want to get anyone in trouble. I have no intentions of filling them out myself.

Is this just for men?

I'd assume no, simply because gender is a "fill-in" 2 nd question into it.
for fun, indicate "other" and see if it skews the results.
after all, " I heard a dog got accepted into LU "
