Courtney Monninger, the former president of Boonsboro High School's student council, was active in her church and extracurricular activities before graduating this summer.

The 18-year-old said she plans to spend her freshman year at Liberty University focusing on two things: academics and her faith.
To give back to her community and help pay for her schooling, Monninger is organizing a blood drive for the American Red Cross. She said she will receive a scholarship based on how much blood is donated at the July 14 drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hagerstown donor center on Conrad Court.

"I called my mom and I said, 'There's no way I could go to a state school, knowing that this is out here,'" Monninger said.
These students still exist! LU just has to keep exposing them to our vision.
